Χρ'ηστες του ETABS ενημερωθείτε και θέστε και δικές σας απαιτήσεις...γιατι προχωρανε τα πραγματα και το ETABS εμεινε πισω συγκριτικα με τον ανταγωνισμό. (φυσικά δεν ζητάμε τίποτα υπερβολικο(είναι?)-πχ σχέδια)
Demand list for ETABS:
1) Design of steel members to EN1993 and not only ENV1993.
2) Assign triangular load to shell element or area. Automatic redistribution(along the height of the area object-wall) of triangular loading when area object is meshed into the elements formed.
3) Automatic generation of wind loading to EN1991-1-4 (since ALL other international codes have been incorporated in ETABS) .This is a basic function many other programs in the market include

5) The command Edit-> Measure does NOT work on 3d view.
6) When using Area springs the designer cannot limit the spring to take only compression. If there is a workaround to this please let me know, or it should be included in the analysis parameters.

Απαντηση:
1) Design of steel members to EN1993 and not only ENV1993 – This option is now added in Sap2000 v14. We plan to add this code for ETABS v12 (due by end of Summer 2009).
2) Assign triangular load to shell element or area. Automatic redistribution(along the height of the area object-wall) of triangular loading when area object is meshed into the elements formed – This option will be added for ETABS v12.
3) Automatic generation of wind loading to EN1991-1-4 (since ALL other international codes have been incorporated in ETABS) .This is a basic function many other programs in the market include – This option is now added in Sap2000 v14. We can look into adding this option for next patch of ETABS.
